This is me taking a break from flying,
we 'parked' for a while on this iceberg
whilst in the Weddell Sea, 1998.
Twenty years ago, we spent two unforgettable seasons in Antarctica — a truly magical experience.
To wake up surrounded by icebergs, penguins, and the sound of ice breaking or the wind sweeping across the snow is something words can barely describe. It’s beautiful, humbling, and deeply emotional all at once.
Add to that the unbelievable story of Shackleton and how he and his crew survived such hardship during the Endurance expedition - and it makes our own journey in the very same place feel even more extraordinary, profound and unforgettable.
That time in Antarctica and the Endurance Expedition story inspired Vintage Antarctica—a way to keep the spirit of that place alive and share it with others who understand its pull.
Through our designs, we hope to capture the same sense of wonder, adventure, and respect that Antarctica gave us.
